As we hear of extreme weather events around the world and shrinking icecap across Antarctica, the Australian Religious Response to Climate Change (WA Chapter) invites interested people to a Multi-Faith Forum on Climate Change.
On Saturday 9th September 2023 this free event will be held at the Hillview Intercultural Community Centre, Bentley, between 1.30-5.30 pm.
The organisers hope to bring together a wide variety of leaders and environmentally conscious members of various faiths and religious bodies and others with a deep spiritual consciousness, to explore the great moral issue of our times.
The program will raise awareness of the climate crisis, sharing insights from the different traditions that motivate people to take practical actions to address these concerns constructively. Participants will leave the forum with a deeper commitment to work towards personal change, collective change within their own communities, as well as being motivated to contribute to wider societal change for better stewardship of the earth and all living things.
