Holy One,
As dawn breaks, I do not lift my eyes to the heavens but to the ground under my feet; for you are in all.
The land is made through your touch of wisdom; the early morning dew like crowns upon the grass.
The trees sway in the wind, like an eternal dance of reverence; boughs yearning to be near their creator.
Honey bees gather pollen, the endless cosmos being renewed; your life force in all things from mountain top and valley deep.
Ripples on the shore line, the waves at sea; all echoing your voice like a bell ringing for all eternity.
The whale calf suckling from its mother’s breast; so too are we nourished by your essence that fills us with life.
Light reflected in the eye of a lamb; revealing your delight in all of your creations, each one held dear.
How magnificent is your hand in all that we see; beauty personified throughout the universe for all to see.
I do not need to look up to see the heavens; as the heavens are in you and you are in me.
Jesus Sophia, God with us and in us.
Amen.
