DESCRIPTION:The Middle East Climate Change and COP 28 \n\n\n\nHosted by the Province of Jerusalem and the Middle East \nWhat are the climate\, conflict and energy dilemmas facing Jerusalem and the Middle East? As suffering deepens in the Holy Land\, experts and pastors from the region take time to reflect on links between conflict and climate change and why Anglican advocacy at COP28 in Dubai really matters. \n\n\n\nThursday November 9\, 2023 \n8 AM London / 11 AM Nairobi\,\nJerusalem\, Cape Town (English and Arabic). \n(4 PM Perth time) \nRegister \n\n\n\nANGLICAN ADVOCACY \nCOP28 is the world’s largest negotiations on climate change\, convened by the United Nations. It takes place in the UAE this November\, bringing the world together at a critical moment for global transformative climate action. An Anglican delegation will attend to represent Anglican voices from around the globe. In the lead up to COP28\, the Anglican Communion’s UN Team and Environment Network are running a series of webinars\, focused on equipping Anglicans to advocate for environmental justice.
