Followers of Jesus are tasked with being stewards of creation. Queenslanders are the custodians of more biodiversity than any other Australian state (sic). There are many actions we can take together during Season of Creation to bring about a world where climate justice flow like a a mighty river.
From celebrating and recommitting ourselves to care for Creation, creating a Sustainability Action Plan for our faith community starting with a simple audit, encouraging our elected leaders to save and grow more trees, to joining the Australia Religious Response to Climate Change (ARRCC) in their gatherings and actions for a more sustainable future. We hope the resources are helpful this Season of Creation.
They have developed a Prayer Card and promotional resources as well as denomination-specific liturgical resources from the Anglican Communion.
